Votes for Kerry in exit polls compared to final machine tallies, in states with paper ballots vs e-voting. From bellaciao.org. See also Vote Fraud—Exit Polls Vs Actuals by Faun Otter at Scoop, Nov. 4, 2004 Thursday, November 11, 2004 $100,000 !REWARD! FOR EVIDENCE OF VOTE FRAUD Justice Through Music, which strongly supports the democratic principles of transparency and honesty in the electoral process, is offering at least a $100,000 reward to any person or persons who provide conclusive and verifiable evidence that the results of the 2004 presidential election were not correctly tabulated because of one or more of the following reasons: 1) hacking into the voting machines; 2) software or coding problems with voting or tabulating machines; 3) multiple counting by machines or humans, 4) improperly implanted codes in voting machines; 5) tampering with voting machines, voting cards or final tabulation numbers; 6) officials or machines not counting all the votes or adding votes; 7) official influence which changed vote totals, or 8) other problems with vote tabulation not noted here. . . . [Green Party presidential candidate David] Cobb Calls for Investigation of Voting Irregularities—News Release, Nov. 5, 3004 Cobb’s work in Ohio toward a formal demand for a recount parallels Ralph Nader’s efforts in New Hampshire. Excellent idea: since only candidates can ask for recounts, let the so-called third-party candidates demand recounts, instead of Kerry. Can the right wingnuts then spin it as “whiny loserman”? These guys are pretty much flying under the radar. It appears a case is building. From nomorefakenews.com: NOVEMBER 10, 2004. It appears that Ohio county commissioners and various other state election officials and Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell are huddling and trying to figure out what to do about irregularities (fraud) in the November 2 election. Here is an excerpt from a message I received on this: WDBZ, 1230 AM here in Cincinnati today... This is an "urban" talk radio station. One of the callers said he had attended a meeting of the Hamilton County Commissioners yesterday, and he learned that a conference call had been held between county commissioners, election officials from across the state and Ken Blackwell. One of the items of discussion was that 93,000 extra votes had been cast (a total which well exceeded the number of voters) in Mahoney County. [Some press reports indicate] Cuyahoga County experienced the same phenomenon. . . . Report on a recount at the state senate level, in New York, where seals on 22 voting machines in one county were damaged or missing. Votes for the Democratic candidate had been severely underreported: As Voting Machines Are Checked, Spano’s Lead Shrinks Tuesday, November 9, 2004 Do We Still Have a Democracy? . . . The right of the citizen to a secure ballot is the foundation of a democratic society and the guarantee that the government rules with the consent of the governed. If that right has been violated by supporters and/or agents of the government, that government has no legitimacy. We do not know if Election 2004 was fraudulent. But equally important, the paperless machines have made it impossible to verify that it was not fraudulent. And it is the inalienable right of a free people that their franchise be fair, accurate, transparent, and verifiable. This, at least, we can affirm: there are disquieting indications that this Presidential election, like the previous, was a fraud and that in a fair election, John Kerry would now be the President-elect. It is unlikely that the media will raise the issue and that there will be a thoroughgoing investigation of this election. Not unless an outraged public demands such an investigation. And so, if John Kerry was fraudulently deprived of his office, and a possible majority of American voters denied the election victory that they had earned, then that crime can not be rectified after December 12, when the Electoral College finalizes the election. If the case is to be made, and if Kerry and Edwards are to assume their fairly won offices, this must be accomplished in a mere five weeks. It is in the hands of the people. Even Kerry supporters should hope that the election was fair, for if it was not, American Democracy is dead today, even though few Americans are willing even to contemplate that possibility. If in fact the election was rigged, and if nothing is to be done to restore the integrity of the ballot, then the Democrats might just as well save their time and money and not bother to contest the next mid-term election in 2006 and the Presidential election of 2008. The outcome of these elections will be pre-determined, as was the election just completed. The rule of the Republican party will be permanent, and independent of the consent of the governed. And that precisely defines a tyranny. Important analysis of the votes in Florida, including the documented fact that 237,522 more Presidential ballots were cast than the total number of people who voted: Did Bush Lose . . . Again? In Florida, the figures show that, in counties with one type of voting machine, voters with no Democrat or Republican party affiliation appeared to split their votes roughly 50/50 between Bush and Kerry, which was to be expected; yet in counties with another type of voting machine, unaffiliated voters seemed to vote nearly 100% for Bush! . . . (In the opinion of your editor of theBlatantTruth, it appears that, in Florida, since the reliability of electronic voting machines is in dispute and under scrutiny, especially in Florida, optical scan equipment was tampered with instead, on the mistaken assumption that these results would be overlooked.) Americans for America: Cuyahoga County [OH] Precincts Odds of Bush gaining by 4 percent in all exit polling states 1 in 50,000; E-voting/paper variance not found to be significant Independent Media Source eVoting Fraud Resource Center Monday, November 8, 2004 Help America Audit—5 Things You Can Do Immediately —Bev Harris, BlackBoxVoting.org, Nov. 8, 2004 I was tipped off by a person very high up in TV that the news has been locked down tight, and there will be no TV coverage of the real problems with voting on Nov. 2. Even the journalists are pretty horrified. My source said they’ve also been forbidden to talk about it even on their own time, and he was calling from somewhere else. He was trying to figure out how to get the real news out on vote fraud. This is a person I’ve worked with off and on for nearly two years, and the voice was so somber it really bothered me. At any rate—and perhaps, especially important due to the tipoff above, there are things you can do to take back America. We have a different list for lawyers, computer people, statisticians. But if you are a regular person like most of us, and want to help, here’s what to do. Please distribute: If you have not done so already, sign up at Black Box Voting — http://www.blackboxvoting.org — to audit the election and deal with vote fraud. You’re our greatest hope. If you choose to accept it, your job is to spread the word in order to build a fast-growing grass roots movement—a voting integrity project so powerful that it cannot be mowed down. 1. BE THE MEDIA—See below. 2. CRUNCH THE NUMBERS: Discrepancies please, and hurry. E-mail them to tips@blackboxvoting.org . Pass the word. Need source documents, too. ASAP. Follow your nose, or join the Black Box Scavenger Hunt: Pick a county. Look at small counties, as we are seeing many discrepan cies in those. Look in any state. Get the official number of registered voters, Dem and Republican. Get the number of votes cast on Nov. 2, Republican and Dem. Make a grid like this, filling in the right numbers: # reg. voters % # votes cast % Rep 100 33% 150 50% Dem 200 67% 150 50% Totl 300 100% 300 100% We can find out a lot from this procedure, very hard data, that will make a real difference. As soon as you have finished a county, e-mail it to us. Do as many counties as you can. 3. HAVE A HOUSE PARTY: Show the film “Votergate” (the real one, which you can download for free at www.Votergate.tv .) Organize “Be the media” actions and set up investigative teams to help dig up information like you have in #2. Timeline is NOW, to get action before seating the electoral college. 4. HELP CONNECT THE WIRES: Hook Black Box Voting (.ORG) up with powerhitters you know, people who can make things happen. 5. DONATE to any of 3 organizations: Black Box Voting (.ORG), the consumer protection group for elections; or the new recount fund (information upcoming), or send contribution to Votergate.tv (The REAL Votergate film, by Russell Michaels, Robert Carrillo Cohen, and Simon Ardizzone. There is another by someone else, make sure you get the right one.) The real VOTERGATE is the most powerful investigative film on this topic, and consequently it has been attacked and blocked repeatedly. They deserve your support. “HOW TO BE THE MEDIA” Don’t expect to see vote burglary on TV. To get the message out fast, you’re going to have to become the underground railroad. Do it now. Take pictures of each other doing it. Have house parties to show others how to do it. Here’s how to “be the media”: BE YOUR OWN REPORTER: We will send you new information as we get it. We need your e-mail to get you on the list, so if a friend sent this to you, please shoot an email to crew@blackboxvoting.org to sign up. Spread the information we send you to every blog, listserv, forum you know and throughout your personal network. Talk about it at work and to people you meet everywhere, lots, quickly, all the time. SELF SERVE SOUND BITES: Frequent, very short messages to immediately increase public awareness. Assume you won’t see it on TV. Put vote fraud related messages on:
ELECTION “TRUTH TOURETTES.” Please excuse the political incorrectness, as it is not meant to be hurtful. It is for a good purpose. This the antidote to “watch what you say.” It is a good icebreaker at a party. Have your guests make up truths, like those below, and mix them into the conversation at surprise times throughout the party. Unexpectedly and urgently blurt them out:
Feel free to interchange and mix it up, or even try a game where different people have to interject with different truths. —WHO REALLY WON — I DUNNO — GOTTA AUDIT! Also, here are more ideas:
If we have to be our own media, so be it. We will not sacrifice democracy just because TV executive producers have a problem with this issue. Sunday, November 7, 2004 Evidence of a Second Bush Coup? Friday, November 5, 2004 ![]() I resent very much that such large portions of my time and energy must still be taken up by the necessity of fighting the BushCo Beast. There is no way we can sit back and let this hideous thing take over. I know and you know the election was, well, “irregular” in many ways and probably has been for many years and these pages will be devoted henceforth to proving this and to seeking full prosecution of those involved. It will also even more intently seek the truth from all quarters regarding all aspects of criminal behavior by this newly “mandated” administration. This web site will be undergoing a transformation over the next few weeks. New pages will be added and others will be suspended. In the meantime, chew on these: Surprising Pattern of Florida’s Election Results (for the statistically minded), with interpretation and a discussion of remedies in the Democratic Underground thread Someone please confirm these numbers.
Good examples: Franklin County: 77.3% of voters registered Dems. Only 15.9% registered Reps. Holmes County: 72.7% of voters registered Dems. Only 21.3% registered Reps. Calhoun County: 82.4% of voters registered Dems. Only 11.9% registered Reps. etc. ad nauseum Is the new spin going to be that the win was due to disgruntled Democrats switching? I do remember very well their tactic, in letters to the editor and calls to talk shows and C-SPAN commentary, of posing as disgruntled Democrats. This was such bunk that I wrote a few letters myself pointing it out as a totally transparent fabrication. Perhaps a strategy has been to build up that campaign to the point that “Bush Democrats” would seem commonplace by E-Day. They still don't seem commonplace OR plausible (“Kerry Republicans” had been popping up all over the place) but the numbers imply they're voting in huge numbers. Problems with votes in Ohio are summarized by the Institute for Public Accuracy in Was the Ohio Election Honest and Fair? According to Greg Palast, an analysis of vote “spoilage” in Ohio shows Kerry won. For a roundup of news items regarding voting problems, counting aberrations, and other evidence of vote fraud, see forum titled Report Voting Problems at Democratic Underground. We will get to the bottom of this! Black Box Voting (.ORG) is conducting the largest Freedom of Information action in history At 8:30 p.m. Election Night, Black Box Voting blanketed the U.S. with the first in a series of public records requests, to obtain internal computer logs and other documents from 3,000 individual counties and townships. Networks called the election before anyone bothered to perform even the most rudimentary audit. America: We have permission to say No to unaudited voting. It is our right. . . . Thom Hartmann notes that manipulated electronic voting is The Ultimate Felony against Democracy: As more and more analysis is done of what may (or may not) be the most massive election fraud in the history of the world, however, it’s critical that we keep the largest issue at the forefront at all time: Why are We The People allowing private, for-profit corporations, answerable only to their officers and boards of directors, and loyal only to agendas and politicians that will enhance their profitability, to handle our votes? . . . Why have we let corporations into our polling places, locations so sacred to democracy that in many states even international election monitors and reporters are banned? Why are we allowing corporations to exclusively handle our vote, in a secret and totally invisible way? Particularly a private corporation founded, in one case, by a family that believes the Bible should replace the Constitution; in another case run by one of Ohio’s top Republicans; and in another case partly owned by Saudi investors? Of all the violations of the commons—all of the crimes against We The People and against democracy in our great and historic republic—this is the greatest. Our vote is too important to outsource to private corporations. It’s time that the USA—like most of the rest of the world—returns to paper ballots, counted by hand by civil servants (our employees) under the watchful eye of the party faithful. Even if it takes two weeks to count the vote, and we have to just go, until then, with the exit polls of the news agencies. It worked just fine for nearly 200 years in the USA, and it can work again. . . . ![]() But let’s say you're not quite ready to believe that the fraud, the abuse of he public trust, the outright theft and treason, could be that substantial. Let’s say you want to have faith in the outcome of our precious right to vote, the Holy Communion of a true democracy, that a fair vote would be a sacred cow beyond the depraved manipulation of even the PNAC fascists and their corporate beneficiaries. What does the outcome say, then? I like Steven A. Hass’s comment on it, over at Newzmaniac: . . . It cost hundreds of millions of dollars just to officially prove what the smarter half of American voters have known all along. We're in serious trouble, folks. One part of the trouble is that Bush now knows that he’s only got four more years to do whatever he wants to do. An equal part of the trouble is that now we know just exactly how low the intelligence quotient has sunk in this country. With a Republican House and Senate gladly leaving Bush unchecked for at least two more years, over half of the American voters have told Bush that they don't care what he does. Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave. A billboard would’ve been so much cheaper.Monday, November 1, 2004 Know any voters who are still undecided?
